Alisha Brunson is a fiber enthusiast who specializes in carding and spinning all types of fibers. Born in North Carolina, but raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Alisha creates things. As a young child even, Alisha enjoyed crafts and sought unique ideas. Years ago, Alisha began knitting. Though knitting was rewarding, Alisha began to spin things differently. She was introduced to world of spinning and created her own yarn. Once spinning, Alisha experimented with different fibers and fabrics and that's when her Hand Spun Necklaces were born.
Alisha’s Necklaces are featured in arts and craft shows across the Southeast, art galleries, boutiques and The Birmingham Museum of Art Gift Shop. They are unique, one of a kind accessories that are hand-carded and hand-spun. Alisha loves to manipulate colored and textured fibers into eclectic and wearable pieces of art for you.
